fizzy bathtub stuff

I saw some Crayola product that supposedly fizzes and adds color to bath water. Does anyone know how this could be made at home? Thanks!

Hey, check here for some instructions. These are so fun. My oldest daughter loves them.

Oh, what a mess! The instructions say you can put these in the oven to speed up the drying time, and since I have only slightly more patience than my 3 yo, I tried that. Like little lavender souffles in my oven! Try to be patient. Otherwise, we had fun and they smell really great in the bath.

Oh, no! I hope it wasn't too much of a mess. I haven't ever put them in the oven. Won't ever be doing it now. Thanks for letting us know!

Oh! Don't put them in the oven!

I have found that it works best if you use some witchhazel in a spray bottle to dampen the mix..it dries faster than water and you use less liquid that way.

Also...you don't need the cornstarch...I think people just use it make them pack more densely...if you are careful they work fine without it.

HTH!

Would someone PM me the recipe, please?

When I try to get on the site my poor 6 year old computer (and phone line) aren't getting on. The computer worked 30 minutes last night trying to load it and it still wasn't done.

Thanks.
