I'm required to bring a dish to my neices birthday party this Friday. I need something to make. Not a "meal" really, but a snack. Like Granola bars maybe? Something kinda easy, but still tasty and vegetarian.
Chips and salsa? Guacamole? A layered mexican dip?
Fruit and cheese "kabobs" on bamboo skewers. Mini-muffins or mini-croissants. Mini quiches. Pinwheel sandwiches. Pretzels with a sweet mustard dip. A homemade cheese ball with crackers. Hummus and/or baba ghanoush with pita chips? Mushroom "caviar"? Spinach and artichoke dip -- maybe in a rye bread boat?
I'm thinking more on the lines of a 1 peice snack. Like maybe mini pita sandwiches (do they even make mini pitas?) or granola bars. I think I really want to make granola bars. I don't want to do fruit bowl because that simply takes up too much time and I can't eat it (allergic to most of the things that are usually in it) and I don't want to do any dips. I need something kid friendly as well. There will be at least 6 kids under 12.
