What should I do? Help!!!

My ds just turned 1. He has 8 teeth. 2 days ago he climed up into dd's doll bed (its very low to the ground). He toppled face forward out of it on to the tile floor with a paci in his mouth. There was lots of blood. It looks fine now other than the fact I think one of the front teeth may be a little loose. Tonight it bled a little at dinner. Does he need to go to a dentist? I dont think my dentist will see him yet. What do I do?

If it isn't bothering him, I'd just wait and see. If there is damage to the root, the tooth may become discolored (probably grayish) over time. My nephew had a similar incident and the root to his tooth was killed. It did turn gray, but wasn't really obvious, and fell out recently when he started losing his baby teeth. At one time, his dentist wanted to do something to it for cosmetic reasons, but BIL and SIL thought that was ridiculous since it would fall out anyway.

Thanks!! I was leaning towards waiting. It does not seem to bother him. I didnt think there was anything they really could do with baby teeth anyway.

I agree with PP. Wait and see the tooth may turn grey and may even be loose for a day or so. It should tighten back up. One thing to watch for is on the gum ( lift the lip to look) if you see a small yellow pimple like spot you will need to go to the dentist. That would be an abcess. In rare cases a fall can cause the root on the tooth to break. Just check like once a week or so for a few months.
