Thought I'd share a couple of projects.

Last weekend we bought some onesies for me to decorate. I decided this one would be the baby's first outfit:

Of course, one onesie doesn't an outfit make. So I made first a hat...then another hat...then two sets of sockies...then a pair of shorts. All are my own patterns.

I can't well put into words the sense of peace I have now that the first outfit is finished. I feel very much now as if everything is ready, and we're just waiting for this little one's arrival. I was just in a fever to get these things completed, and there's relief as well.

Adorable! Now, on to the real question: HOw'd you get pictures in the post... (not trying to hijack your wonderful picture post btw! Justcurious!)

Use the tag [img][/img] at the front & back of the URL of the photograph. Which of course requires you to have the image hosted somewhere. Those are at Hostwave, which is a pay service; Photobucket.com offers free image hosting.

I didn't know you could do that on MDC! Nifty! I know how to do img tagging, I just didn't know you could do it here. I've honestly never seen a post with pictures in it in any of the forums I've been to. Is it a new feature? I'm really sorry to hijack your thread...please, people, admire thepretty baby things! They're delicious and cute!!

That looks superb! I hope will have time to sew a few projects before this second baby arrives.. 6 months aughtto be enough time, ya think? :LOL I wish I could knit that well. Maybe I will give it a try since baby won't criticize me anyway, just drool and all the regular baby things...

I never learned to knit... apparently I hear it's very easy, just takes time.

How Darling!! Wish I had thought about that! But I did a little onepiece cotton gingham outfit, actually made 2 of them because I thought there was more than one...he fooled me! Gave the other to one of my church buddies who had her baby 2 weeks before I did!

That's not knit, it's crochet. I don't have the patience to knit, it takes too darned long. You can check out www.stitchguide.com for instructions, written & video clips, on how to both knit & crochet.
