Ok, say I decided to hurt myself, on purpose. Just for the sake of doing it. Like oh slit my wrists....got it?

Now if I told someone of my plans to slit my wrists to a good friend, she would call the cops on me and I would be taken away to a mental institution.

Here I am a full grown adult making MY OWN CHOICE over MY OWN body. But I can be stopped.

A mother, fully knowing the facts, knowing her Dr doesn't use pain relief, knowing EVERYTHING we know about RIC, still puts her son up for the clamp. The cops don't stop her.

The difference is a doctor is doing it and that's just about it.

Within the last year or so, there were two cases of men circumcising their sons in a "do-it-yourself" project. One was in Washington or Oregon and the other was in California. The WA or OR man went to prison and the CA man was released with no charges against him. Go figure!

However, a well known fetishist, Todd Bretrang of California had circumcised boys and got away with practicing medicine without a license. However, he arrainged to circumcise a girl and was locked up even though he never did it. Go figure!

Well circumcision is legal, self injury is not. It is illegal to cause/threaten harm to your self or others. Sadly it is not illegal to circumcise.
