DD started school

on Wednesday (full day). She got on the bus (not wanting a picture taken) I called her name and she looked and I snapped. Needless to say she was annoyed with me, so she wouldn't even wave goodbye . Neeless to say I shed my tears and missed her like crazy. She got home tired but she loved it! It was so quiet in this house...When DH goes back 2 work (Monday) and DS1 to preschool (mid Sept) I'll be lost. Of course I'm taking 9 grad credits so I should be busy!

I can definitely relate. My dd started at a language (Spanish) immersion school on Wednesday. It's all day (and she's only 3.5 years old) and she absolutely LOVES it!! She was disappointed this morning that it was Saturday and there is no school. But the good thing is... she didn't mind me taking all the pictures I wanted of her these first few days. It's hard to let your baby go!!! Totally understand! But it was pretty cool that she told me "Buenos Dias" (don't know how to spell it... I don't speak Spanish) this morning. I love this school, too. Originally we planned for her to be in the French program, but I think Spanish is going to be a lot more useful.

My ds starts on Monday, the 29th and I'm so emotional about it. I'm going to miss him so much! 4 hours every day without him..

My dd's first day was yesterday (Friday), and by the time we got out the door and crosses the street, I forgot the camera . She looked so scared and sad, but she was brave, she just looked back twice and went on and got on the bus. I was so proud of her. By the end of the day she was wiped out, but can't wait to go back on Monday.
