my sister DID puke

My parents and 3 younger sisters (not married, no kids yet) all came to visit for DS first bday. Got into a conversation about circumcision, naturally. One of my sisters (going on 21) agreed to watch the intact.ca video.

As she was watching it, she was obviously very sick and disgusted. I turned to her and said, "Now, is that what we should have done to Antonin?" She couldn't even answer, then a moment later she ran upstairs and puked.

Does anyone think I might have proved my point with her?

I couldn't make it through the video... it wasn't the procedure, but the poor dear WAILING as if he were dying.

There have been very few occasions that my daughter has cried hysterically, and none of the times has she ever sounded that tortured.

I don't see how anyone could see and hear that video and still walk away thinking circumcision is a good thing.

Subscribing to this thread, just in case one of DH's family members asks why we aren't circumcising this baby (Both DH and his brother are circ'ed).

All I can think of is Jenny McCarthy saying how she wanted her son to have a "pretty penis." It just makes me shudder to see him wiping the blood off the "pretty penis."
