An update on Amy/Hoosierdiaperinmama

I received some information from a friend of hers where she lives. This is so heartbreaking.

Up until about 8 PM last night she had been in shock and then started to come out of it and was asking questions on what had happened and what was going on. She had lost a lot of blood but was stable and doing better after being in surgery for 2-3 hours. The placenta had torn in the morning and that's evidently where she was feeling her back pain from. Her mother said that the baby was beautiful - perfect in every way and Amy & her DH held the baby.

She spent the night in ICU but should be moved to a regular room today.


UPDATE from a friend - I erased the names.

I just talked to __________. She ran into DH when she was coming into the hospital. He siad that Amy was bleeding again last night so they took her to surgery about 1 am. She is stable now. __________ is waiting for visitation to be over at 11, then she will go see the family and get an update. I will know more after 12 or so.
As for the funeral... I don't know. I wanted to ask but couldn't last night. It was all to soon. As soon as I hear I will let you know. Even living close I still very helpless......

I am glad that physically she is doing ok now. I am sure that the baby was the most beautiful baby, what a special little girl.

Yes, I'm glad that Amy is physically stable. Oh, but I feel so badly for them. My heart goes out to her and her family. I just can't believe it. Oh, and AMy is SUCH a sweet woman. I hate to see something like this happen to anyone, but especially for AMy.

Could you send a PM to Frogmorest so she can put an update in the thread she started at the top. That way more people will see it (often people just return to the original thread for updates).

Oh wow.... I'm glad to hear she made it through and is physically recovering. I'm sure her angel was absolutely gorgeous!

I'm glad she's doing better physcially. I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers while her emotional recovery begins. Bless her heart.

Thank you for the update. I'm glad she is physically doing good. I'm thinking of her, Amy is so very sweet, how awful for this to happen to anyone really but she just didn't deserve this :. I'm thinking of her .

Thank you for the update. She was the last thing on my mind last night & the first thing this morning. I'm just so shocked & heartbroken for them. I'm glad she's stable now. My prayers are with them.
