felting

I am going to attempt felting wool. I want to make some of those neat wool toys for my dd and some gifts for friends. I have a friend who made a lovely wool felt hat for winter. Where did you find the best deal on wool to felt and what is a good book/article for details about felting?

I am lucky enough to have a farm nearby my home that raise sheep for wool(they are weavers!) and they dye their own wool for felting and spinning! They have parties twice a year and sell their wool-so yummy!!
anyway I have seen good deals on ebay for both books and wool for felting. I can't remember the sellers names but just type in felting or wool or something along those lines. good luck and have fun!!!

there are many many resources on ebay. try looking inthere stores for cheaper pricing. and try to buy all you need at once to lessen the cost.
