Has anyone ever done this? I saw a kit on the Dharma trading co. and I thought about buying it. Tell me about your experience. I have only marbelized paper. Is it a similar technique? Where did you get your supplies?

ok, I'm not going to be of much help, but I think it's close to the same technique as paper. when I was in like 2nd grade, we had an enrichment class and I remember marbelizing both paper and fabric, without much difference between the two. I'd just make sure the ink will set in the fabric so that it doesn't run

A couple of the marbling kits I used with school kids with paper state that they could be used with fabric too. One used acrylic paints in the thickened water solution, and acrylics will not wash out of fabric. The other was inks in water, which think would also "stain" the fabric permantly. I don't know about the specific product you are looking at, though. It would probably be very cool.
