Anyone get HCG trigger shots?

I had one this cycle, natural ovulation, but the darn egg would not come out according to the ultrasound. About two days later, I started getting really sore boobies, just like when I was pregnant. Is this a natural side effect of the shot? I usually get a little tender after ovulation, but this is much stronger. TIA.

I've had them...some get side effects just like that or even like early pregnancy...sounds normal. I didn't but that was just me...

I used to get them when I was in treatment. They do produce side effects mimicing (sp?) pregnancy because HCG is the hormone produced during pregnancy. Don't take a pg test until at least 10 and preferably 14 days have elapsed since your shot as the hormone can stay in your system that long and give you a false positive Here's hoping your body is producing those sore boobies all by itself!
