Hi, my name is Lindsay and I'm due May 24th after more than 2 years TTC #1.

I am in Atlanta right now, but will be headed back to Scotland next week, and am hoping for a nice waterbirth there. I almost didn't post here yet, I was kinda scared to do it. I am still very nervous, I've seen far too many wonderful friends miscarry in my years on fertility boards. Hoping this baby is sticky.

ok, i'm just gonna jump right in here!!

my name's erin and it looks like my edd is may 27, which also happens to be my mil's and my nephew's b-day!

this was my 14th cycle ttc #1 and right now it seems very surreal that it worked!

but i'm psyched!!!!!

NICOLE!! You sly thing, I can't believe you're due right after me. How exciting is this? LMK if you need any area referrals for midwives, doulas etc. And BABS is great too!

My dh was slow to come around, but after ds' birthn he was TOTALLY pro-homebirth and we both agree it's the only way for us now. If you wanna try to get together sometime or if you think your dh would talk to mine on the phone we could work it out. I saw in your blog where you mentioned the cord being around DD1's neck... my dd's cord was around her neck too. Really, any experienced caregiver deals with it no problem. It's quite common actually! The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth is a great resource because it brings up a lot of points to think about and compares the outcomes and interventions in hospitals, birthing centers, and homebirth.

Well, ladies, it looks like I may have had some leftover hormones from the m/c last month messing things up for me. Aunt Flo came to visit yesterday. At first I was really upset b/c I thought I was having another m/c, but I truly believe that this is just AF and something messed up the test on Tues. I'm hoping that this month is my month, and that I will be due in June. Good luck to the rest of you on your babies!
