My dh was slow to come around, but after ds' birthn he was TOTALLY pro-homebirth and we both agree it's the only way for us now. If you wanna try to get together sometime or if you think your dh would talk to mine on the phone we could work it out.

I saw in your blog where you mentioned the cord being around DD1's neck... my dd's cord was around her neck too. Really, any experienced caregiver deals with it no problem. It's quite common actually!
The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth is a great resource because it brings up a lot of points to think about and compares the outcomes and interventions in hospitals, birthing centers, and homebirth.
