How are you feeling today? - Page 5

You ladies are too, too awesome. Troopers we are I say. I hope everyone's having a sweet day, not too sick. So I stopped taking the prenatals and all and I just don't think I can go back. However the calcium/mag, folate and B-6 supplements I was taking made me have that rocks in my stomach feeling big time. It was almost as bad as the prenatals. I'm thinking it might have been b/c I still wasn't eating enough and/or the other vitamins were still heavily in my system. I haven't taken any kind of supplement in a couple of days and am feeling way better than I was. Still sicky, but not all debilitatingly incapacitated. I still need to go to the health food store and find a vitamin I think even though I've been trying to eat greens, fruits, drinking Odwalla juices, eating soups, etc. to get my nutrients, just to be on the extra safe side. I'm sort of, no, let me not lollygag with this, I'm terrified of taking anything b/c of how badly I was feeling. I've been toying with the idea of breaking my regular vitamin in half and taking them at different times but ladies, I just can't bring myself to do it. Last night, Thursday, was the first time I had had more than 2 or 3 bites of something in almost a month and a half. I had an Ultimate sub from Publix and ate the whole thing. Oh and those sex dreams, tee-hee. They seem so real! Anyway and a day, yak, yak, yak. Continue being fabulous mamas. Much love.

Oh yeah...I know those sex dreams. I dreamt that I was with an octogenarian the other night!

Having two weird symptoms....super thirsty and I apologize if this is tmi, but I feel like I have way more discharge than usual...almost like O time...anyone else have this or am I just weird?

Ditto on the discharge Hollysmom. I was super thirsty until I got super nauseated. Now I have to drink small amounts all day or it comes right back up.

mamacatsbaby- I've been having sex dreams too. Whew! I had a lot around the time we conceived IIRC.

Yeah, I am super thirsty too with the discharge. Oy.

I haven't been having sex dreams but dreamt my babysitter was pregnant so at least someone is getting some in my dreams :LOL

Another thirsty lady here.

My boobs really hurt, too. Dh swears they look bigger, but I think it's just wishful thinking on his part.

No m/s yet...I'm 6 weeks exactly today.

well...

I am nauseated. I was only having it in the morning and afternoon, not too bad or almost gone in the evenings. Now I am pretty well having some for most of the day - it is still a little more bearable at night.

I am tired and have to take at least one if not two naps a day. Luckily my three year old is cooperating and sometimes lays down with me. If not she will sit with me while I rest and watch one of her shows. I know I know shouldn't use TV to disctract her but well, I feel like crap and this gets me through when I need to do it.

My nipples are sore, especially if anything brushes against them - like my towel after a shower.

I have a lot more discharge too.

I think that is about it except I have had the runs several times since I found out on the 12th. My prenatal doesn't have a stool softner. I don't know what the deal is but it sucks!

I hope you are all feeling ok today!

I hear you thirsty mamas. I'm all about my OJ and ice water. I was kinda dischargy myself for a minute, now that has tapered back. Someone please tell me that my sexy-sexy drive will come back as I'm pushing the 2nd tri. Aye-yi-yi. This m/s will be my undoing. :LOL

Oh man, the thirst is insane. I think it is because we are increasing our blood volume.

I am so tired and have to move so slow in order to not get overcome with nausea.

I hit my fingernail this morning and it bled a bit under the nail and I thought I was gonna die. I fell down and threw up. So nasty.

I am lucky though, DP is really picking up the slack and helping me out. He is a great guy.

Ugh. This sickly nausea now has company: the worst indegestion ever. At least for me. I have definitely never been prone to indegestion, just tiny bouts here or there. This hurts. I can barely swallow! Freakin' yuck mamas...

so hungry!

I was so sick today, but could not throw up.. in fact I have only thrown up once since I got pregnant, but have been so nausus!
Today I was soooo hungry but nothing sounded good except cabbage and potatoes and I had already eaten every spud and leaf in the house so I made this 10 quart pot of stone soup with everything I could find and ate over half of it. I am gaining weight so fast this time, but am also having so many more cravings. I keep 2nd guessing not getting an U/S becuase I keep wondering if I am farther along than my chart says I am. We did NFP and I know when I ovulated, so I am going off of the conception date on that date... but I am feeling sooo pregnant!

I have been SO sick. Just looking at this DDC made me a little queasy because I knew there would be other queasy women posting here. I'm nauseated and vomiting all day long.. and only 6 weeks 6 days pregnant. I usually LOVE food, it has been difficult to be so sick and to have everything tasting bad. All I've been able to eat easily is Subway veggie subs. :LOL

Felt like throwing up this morning but didn't (just gagged a lot...tmi I know) had a nice greasy hashbrown: and that seems to have settled my stomach for now.

Mamacat, you should try papaya enzyme for the indigestion. When we are pregnant our GI tracts slow down. It takes longer for food to digest and empty from our stomachs, predisposing to indigestion (plus our esophageal sphincters are relaxed). OTC antacids don't help pregnant women all that much because they actually slow the process of digestion, which just contributes to the problem. Papaya enzyme will speed up the digestion and help your stomach empty sooner.

I have also found papaya enzyme to help with my nausea.

The kind I have are little papaya flavored chewable tablets. Very non-noxious.

not puking, now it's the other end!

Sorry, gross contents to follow. Anyone feel like their feces has been altered significantly by the pregnancy? I am thinking the vitamins and diet changes have given me the runs. Any comments? Sorry for the gross topic.

I am almost 10 weeks.....

yep

make sure your vitamin does not contain a stool softner. I am having the same problem as you, but mine does not have a stool softner.

Ugh, I am still sick! I am so tired of this. I'm 10 weeks now, so I'm hoping I've only got a couple more weeks of it. I don't think I can take much more. Everyone in my family thinks I am just lazy and that I should just deal with it. But I just can't. It's all I can do just to take care of DS and get my homework done. Every once in a while I can manage to do a little shopping or some laundry or something, but that's it. Whenever I do actually try to get things done, I just end up sicker. Then I can't sleep that night and I feel horrible the whole next day. This has got to end soon.
