Pulling cats out from under the crib at naptime

All three of our cats like to snooze under the crib. Sometimes two at a time, usually only one. Two are easy to extract, but the smallest one is flat out STUBBORN.

They never want to snooze for the whole nap time, and the stinkers have woken ds up several times. So now after ds is nursed and rocked to sleep, I crawl around on the floor poking at the cat under the crib.

When he is awake, ds thinks it's hysterical to peek under the crib and spy a cat. When he's REALLY sleepy, peeking under with no cat to spy is a crushing devestation!

Just thought I'd share - pet plus baby stories are my favorite.

Too Cute! My cats sleep in the crib - that's ok because ds had never once slept there! One cat even thinks ds is her baby. She is very attached and protective of him. When he cries she gets upset and comes to get me. She also likes to take a nap with us during the day - we all crawl in the big bed together and she sleeps right next to ds! It is so sweet!
