Well, isn't she a bright one??
okay apparently she hasn't known anyone who has had a less than desirable c-section recovery. I'd be more than happy to tell her about both of mine

I saw this today and wanted to hurl.

I think she already had surgery...her lobotomy.

It's pretty common in hollywood, you can plan the birth around your career and have a tummy tuck at the same time. BARF.

:LOL Thanks for that. I needed some levity after this horrendous week in our nation!

"Too posh to push."

what about the 3 thousand dollars of imported water she was getting for her water birth?

How incredibly vapid. I'm actually surprised that she isn't worried about c-section scarring - or maybe she hasn't thought that far ahead.

A woman should birth as she pleases...I'm not surprised she's scared.
True, a woman should birth how she pleases, but it should be educated and people shouldn't be sharing horror stories about their births just to scare her. People are scared about birth. many people are, but when you stop to think about it, major abdominal surgery is much more tramatic than pushing a baby out the way a body was designed to do.

I've had 2 vag births and one c-section and the surgical birth was a much longer recovery. Of course, the actual baby coming out didn't hurt with the surgical birth but everything else was harder and hurt like hell.

I noticed she didn't mention anything about hoping to breastfeed....

She will work it into her busy schedule.

I agree.

Unfortunately she may find the section recovery full of it's own pain... it just lasts longer IMO. Regardless as to how she births I hope it goes well & that she and the babe come out safe and healthy. Just as I hope for all women and babies.

I sure hope this is the end of her belly shirts too. I am just hoping her kid has a fighting chance at normalcy after being born to such interesting parents.

If she wants a caesarean section, there are plenty of obstetricians out there to give her one...they have been practicing on everybody else.
