Silly Question - Eyeware - Page 2

I'm legally blind *with* my glasses or contact For my first birth, I wore my contact until I was pushing. Then my eyes got very dry and I took it out. I put on my glasses but ended up literally throwing them at my doula at one point. I got them back moments after birth For my second birth I wore my contact for a while then decided to take it out. I put my glasses on and again took them off while pushing. I have the neatest memory of my husband catching the baby via the blurry version ofmy sight without any correction. I really should paint a picture. This time I'll try again to wear the contact as long as possible. One reason I have had my births photographed and taped is so that *I* can see them later since I can't see them while it's happening. When i had mnyt glasses on, I justwiped them off ifneeded, it wasn't a big deal and it gave others something to do (bring me a towel/rag)

I wore my glasses with one labor and my contacts with the other. I think I would wear my contacts until they started bothering me, and then take them out if necessary. I guess it depends on which you are more comfy in.
