What exactly is CLW? here is our story not sure if I belong or not :LOL
I'm breastfeeding a 34 month old dd and for now have plans to let her self wean. We are also activitly TTC and I admit I kinda hope if/when I do she'll self wean when my supply drops. But we love nursing now
I did night wean and even though I no longer restrict the daytime nursing (or nighttime for that matter) we did work on finding other ways to sooth our selfs for a while. I tried very hard to follow my childs lead, when for example she would nurse at night then wake up
on top of our heads and had a hard time setting down we worked with her and part of this included respectfully setting nursing limits. We never had her CIO because she coiuldn't nurse we just helped her reach the next step and made sure she was comfortable with cuddles and other affection.
Now I don't limit any mostly because I feel shes knows when she really needs me so she nurses between 1-3 times a day and every so often will wake to night nurse, and we nurse a lot through illiness or injuries if they happen.
