scrapbooking question

Thread Starter
I picked up some post bound scrapbooks, and I'm getting ready to start scrapping. I just wanted to make sure of something...do I use both sides of the paper? I wasn't planning on scrapping in order because I'm just starting and way behind. But, how do I just do a random page here and there if I have to plan the chronology in advance?

Ok, I don't know if that made sense. NAK here and don't have much time.

You dont have to use both sides, you can do one sideand put it in any order you want for right now you can always ove them around later, then if you have pics you WANT going back to back, you can add it when you get to those pictures or just slide anoher sheet into the back side of it. alot of printed ppaers are only printed on one side so likley youd put 2 back to back anyway, or if using card stock, you wont necesarily want the same color backgrounds. One wonderful feature of post bounds are you can move things around so easily.

Also, albums dont have to be chronological, they can be grouped by any means YOU like.. ie birthdays in one group, christmas in one group etc... remember.. it is YOUR album... so the way YOU want it.. is the way to do it
It would be a good idea to at least gather your pics, take a look at what you ave and maybe get them slightly/generally grouped .. just so you dont, for example, do babies first b-day lay out and in 3 months come across the "perfect" shot you didnt realize you had because great aunt mildred mailed it to you and you only glanced at it once ... or something like that ;-) (that one i learned from experiance and finally tore apart the page to get that awsome pic in)

Is this your first album? If you want you can e-mail me directly if you questions or anything... i've done tons of scrapping and even design albums for others.

best of luck.... remember most of all.. have fun.. these are YOUR memories, preserve them how YOU want not how the latest greatest fad dictates even though some of them are sssooooo very fun to do and add and a warning ... scrapping is addictive!!!!!!!!!!
