"Mothers for Liberty" is a group of women dedicated to the ideas and practices of raising libertarian children and actions which will promote liberty now and for the next generation. Our discussion group encourages a dialogue among mothers (and women of all ages and stages) from all walks of life - homeschoolers, homesteaders, free-thinkers - all working toward raising responsible, independent children.

If you'd like a little more insight into Libertarian philosophy, pick up a copy of Dr. Mary Ruwart's book, "Healing our World".

Several "Mothers for Liberty" members recommended it to me and I have recently started to read it. For those interested in social change, personal freedom and individual responsibility, check out Dr. Ruwart's book and website at: http://www.ruwart.com/

This book has been touted by some as the most important book of the decade! If anyone here has read or is reading this, I'd love to hear from you.

Just a quick update ... our group has grown considerably since my first post back in September of last year.

We have approximately 70 members - and get some great discussions going on such topics as alternative medicine, organic gardening, homeschooling, political activism, campaigns, books, etc ...
