this movie has a war theme

i'm not big on taking dd to movies.she usually falls asleep and they are boring. but this one she wanted to see and i was in the mood for it and it is a major treat so i took her to see "valiant" about a carrier pidgeon...anyways, it takes place during ww2.............do you believe it? a childrens movie and the theme is ww2!?

it was a terrible waste of my money!
