dyeing playsilks with kool-aid? quick and easy instructions?

I have seen the long drawn out 10 step instructions for dyeing wool with kool-aid.

Are there any simple instructions for dyeing playsilks with kool-aid?

I do have a microwave...if that makes a difference

I am planning to do about 10 playsilks in a variety of colors.

How much kool aid do I need for each color?
Do I need white vinegar?

Thanks

http://artfulparent.wordpress.com/20...with-kool-aid/ ETA: This made me laugh because I was googling how to dye playsilks, had just left this site and your post was third link down on the google search.

BTW, right now I am dying my second and the method works really well! Mine are pretty marbled because I didn't stir the silk around much, just dumped it in but I love the color with the lemon lime kool aid and the blue from berry blast(?)

Here's my blog post from when I dyed playsilks, and used the resulting streamers to make silk streamer wands. But the dyeing of the silks are the same. (Yes, you need vinegar.)
