I made a commitment to myself this morning that I will walk every day. I walked today but we'll see how I am doing in 2-3 weeks. I do also have plans to take a prenatal yoga class a little later in the pregnancy.
We just inherited a treadmill 2 weeks ago, but I've been walking 1.5-2 miles on it each day. I'm trying not to push myself at all (I haven't been physical in too long and newly pg is not the time to being anything too ambitious I imagine), but I'm excited by the notion that I might be able to gain less with this pg than the 49 lbs. I gained with my first.
I'm back in the gym again, although Ella is having issues with daycare, so we'll see how it goes. My thought is that we'll keep trying, but the caretakers are to page me if she gets upset. I can get 2 days in with my mom watching her, so there's that.
We've been doing stroller walks, too,now that the weather isn't nasty hot. Ella has been mostly slung, and we've barely used the stroller- she's into it!
I'd be interested in doing a weekly support thread on exercise...
I think the walking really helped with my last labor and delivery, so I want to do more this time around, i am glad to see biking on the list!
I am trying to find a few more things to add though... I do babywearing, so I need to be able to do it with DD on me, or in my house where she can just be playing...
