Nemesis- what did you think?

Have to say it wasn't a terrific movie. I am sort of disappointed. I knew I had to see it even if it sucked though So it didn't come as a total suprise.

Story line didn't seem that fantastic. I hear it was written by a fan. Was much darker than most Star Trek movies and shows, especially for TNG. Poor Troy.. she look tired throughout the entire movie to anyone, else? Always looked like she was gonna cry.

I thought it was really good! It reminded me a lot of "First Contact" and the borg.

The only part that I didn't like was when Deanna was trying to contact the viceroy, I thought that it was very overly dramatic with the light shining right over her eyes.

I thought that the man who was cast to play Nemesis (can't remember his name and probably wouldn't be able to spell it anyway) did a great job, I was impressed.

Probably won't get to it 'til video ... ... and have lost track of the TNG movies, but have to ask, is this an "odd" or "even" numbered movie?

(TOS movies were great on the evens, sucked on the odds, so I'm just wondering if the original series' math fits for the Next Generation ... )

What number movie is "Nemesis"?

As far as I know there is no numbering series for the TNG movies and the 'odd' 'even' thing doesn't mean anything as to whether they are good or bad. I have actually liked all the movies in the TNG series, I even like Nemesis, but thought it wasn't as great as it could have been.

The order in the series is:

Generations

First Contact

Insurrection

Nemesis

IMO I do think the first 2 were the better movies of the 4.

Was "Generations" the one with Kirk? I wasn't crazy about that one. It was okay.

Anyway, as a Trek-head who's had no time for Trek in many a year, will still see it, good or bad, on video ...

Out of sheer curiosity, is Worf's hair short or long nowadays?

Generations was the one with Kirk where they travel into the Nexus.

No more Page-boys for Worf. He is sporting the long pony tail cinched at the neck these days, and thank god, without bangs! There's something just not right about a Klingon with bangs ag

All I can say is

I did enjoy watching the movie, but it was VERY dark (cept for the beginning and it was ABOUT time! LOL!) I've been watching TNG for a LONG time now, and am very attached to the characters (silly me). Especially the character the above is for.

I am trying to not give the movie away for those who haven't seen it.

It was amusing to see Worf hungover! :LOL
