Crocheted necklaces

Have you all seen this thread? It's actually in the yarn forum. They look so pretty - I've never been into jewelry before, but I'm about to try these. Also if anyone can answer my question about hardware in post #33 of that thread, I'd it. Thanks!

I'll second the FireMountain recommendation. I've also been making jewelry for a number of years.
A suggestion, it's tempting, when first getting gemstone beads (that term includes precious and semi-precious) to get chips rather than round beads (cause they are cheaper). Beading is infectious and addictive. Fire Mountain often has sales so you can get round beads that are not "grade a" but prefectly usable for you rather than the chips that you will probably grow out of way too fast.
