is corelle safe?

CORELLE dinnerware is created through a very special glass lamination process, which thermally bonds two clear "skin" layers of glass to a white or beige "core" layer.

anyone know of its safety?

It's china with a glass coating. I'd say it's safe based on that.

My husband used to work for the company that made corelle. He even visted the factory where they make it. Everything he knows indicates that it is safe and we use 3 sets of it! Hope this helps.
