I read this recently and was underwhelmed. Although I thought some of what she had to say was interesting, I also felt like some of it was over generalized from what appeared to be a sample space of one.

The pp has a good point. However I think it's worth reading. I felt it had many good points that fit in well with my style of parenting. Read it and take what works for you.

But I have a friend (homeschooler) who really does it (her DH is on board, no way my DH would be) and her kids are so well behaved and great (although she did have her moments).

My son ugghhhh I have made so many mistakes

Oh well.

mistakes are relative, we would never evolve if we didn't question oursleves...I am certainly not looking for a self-help book, I don't need someone else telling me how to parent.. so I think I will let this one go. Thanks for all the imput.
