Dr. Bronners Questions

Ok I've heard lots about dr. bronners but I'm not sure what all you can use it for. Can you enlighten me? Can it be used to do laundry? If so how much would you put in one load?

It can be used for laundry, a couple of squirts will do, depending on load size. I use it in foamer bottles for hand soap at all my sinks. I also use it as a base to make shampoo. Great stuff and smells wonderful! A little goes a long way.

I use it for all of the above stuff, too, plus I mix in a tupperware bowl:

warm water, baking soda and a squirt of peppermint Dr. Bronner's for a nice scrubbing cleanser in the kitchen, bath, etc. You have to take an extra "swipe" to get all of the grit off, but it works great! And smells good because of the Dr. B's.... I make enough in the tupperware so I can just open it and dip in the sponge on cleaning days... Now that my DD likes to help clean, I feel safe letting her enjoy the smell, and getting it all over herself!

Does anyone know of a good place online to get Dr. B's?

drugstore.com (my mom uses them, so they are reliable) has 3 flavors but you should be able to find it any decent natural food retailer.

Thanks ladies. I did try it with the laundry with only one issue but I'm sure that was more of the children's doing and not the soap.

I just bought Dr. Bronners at Trader Joe's (a big bottle cost $8 - is this a good deal?)

What on earth is all that small print about? Murder of wife and children?! ALL-ONE. WTH?

I put a squirt in an empty liquid hand soap dispenser and filled the rest with water. It smells great and gets my hands clean, but it is sooo drying. Anyone else have this problem?

It's a good deal if you dilute it A LOT. It'll still work great . I probably only have to buy it once a year because we dilute it so much.

He has a lot of philosophy on there. I read it in the shower, it cracks me up sometimes.

It is very drying. I would never use it for shampoo (hair=hay) but use like 3 drops on a sponge for the shower or to clean my face sometimes.

We use it for everything. I have the eucalyptus, peppermint, lavender, and baby castile along with the sal suds. We use it for:
cleaning countertops, sinks, shower, floors, walls, etc.
showering
cleaning my stove
spray it on my garden to keep buggies away
have used it in a pinch camping to brush teeth
have used it to scrub stains out of clothes and my diva cup :
i've heard it's nice for cloth diapers, but I don't have any experience with diapers.....yet
