Cold Play
Tenacious D

I can't remember any others right now but I know that I've got them, I've packed them all away and haven't seen them in a while

I have only bought a George Strait one in the last few years. And I do like country. I guess I thought I was too old for an Aerosmith one when we went a couple years ago. Did buy the Who one either?

okay, here we go...

Bob Dylan
Joni Mitchell
Billy Bragg
Lucinda Williams

and there must be a couple more but I can't think of them right now. The Dylan and Mitchell are old old old...like me!

We have way too many t-shirts in our house (excuse me, trailer), but the vast majority of them sport political slogans...sort of a map of the last twenty years of our lives together...

I have an Elvis Costello, an ancient Devo and 2 or 3 Cherry Poppin' Daddies from about 10 years ago (I know they're yesterday's news but I've loved them from when they were young and obscure and teh lead singer had red white and blue dreads)

But the t shirt that's making me wet my pants and gibber with excitement right now is one a friend gave me tonight; a crew t-shirt from HMS Surprise. (SWOON) (ok- it's a little off topic but where else would I rave about this?)

:LOL :LOL :LOL :LOL :LOL

I've actually got two really old ones that probably wouldn't fit around my neck, much less my body anymore. They're ancient ... but anyway ...

Yes (25 years old)
Genesis (25 years old)

And maybe half-a-dozen assorted Grateful Dead/Jerry shirts. These fit ... once I passed my earliest 20s, realized the joys of x-tra large clothes, even for thin folks ...

I understand Burritomama saying the tees are 'a map of one's years together'...

Alice In Chains~'93
Tool~'98,'01, '02
Soundgarden~'94
Lollapalooza~'92,'93
Jane's Addiction~'97
Metallica~'94 (before they started wearing eye shadow)
Nine Inch Nails~'96

Man, I know there's more but I can't remember... many of them have been retired, I was thinking of making a quilt out of them or something... we just can't throw them out...

Ms. Mom-you can, and you did. I love Prince.

XM-A quilt is a great idea.

LaLaLuna--I'm not all that--I got someone to get it for me.

Between DH and me we have about 3 dozen Grateful Dead shirts, mostly the kind you'd buy in the lot made by other heads rather than anything merchandized by the band. I guess the oldest ones we still have are from the early '80s,alot of the really old ones are in a box, someday I'm gonna make that quilt, someday when I have the time.
