Gymnastics problems--update

Thread Starter
A couple months ago I posted about my daughter's bad experience trying gymnastics (something she had begged to do) at the Y. I'm too lazy to dredge up the thread but it's in the Parenting Issues forum somewhere.

Anyway, she wanted to try it at a different place so a few weeks ago we took her to another gym and she LOVES it. The teachers are all super nice, the gym is spacious and uncrowded (even with the gymnastics team practicing at the same time as the classes), there is tons of equipment set up and visible, the classes are fun yet challenging, etc etc. Basically it is the complete opposite of our previous experience. I'm so glad we gave it another shot rather than giving up like I was considering. She looks forward to the class all week and talks about it constantly.

Anyway, that's our update! Thanks to all who responded to the original thread.

I didn't post on your other thread, but I read it. My dd competes in gym, and so did I, so I'm drawn to anything that mentions gymnastics. It's a fantastic sport given the right environment, and I'm glad to hear you've found a place that you and your dd are happy with. Have fun!

Glad to hear that you found a place you like!

Speaking of Y sports...my son is supposed to start soccer on Saturday, and it's Wednesday and we STILL have not heard anything from his coach, and have no idea what time his game is supposed to be on Sat. Anyway, don't know why I'm venting that here! :LOL
