First let me say by no means am I thinking o switching to F------! I have been nursing for 4 1/2 years, I have nursed though pregnancy, tandem nursed and am now nursing my third child, all of whom have had nothing but breastmilk...however! We live in New Orleans and our house is flooded we believe to the roof! So when the water goes down in a month or so and we can finally go back to start the clean up process, is this safe for me to expose myself to potential toxins when I'm nursing? We don't plan on exposing the children, but I'm wonderig if I should be exposed as well since I'm exclusively nursing? I'm dying to get back and see my house, but don't want to cause any helath problems for dd. Does anyone have any info on a situation like this? Thanks so much!

I'm glad that you and your family are safe.
if it is true, but is that our houses will end up being bulldozed b/c they will not be salvagable. The amount of mold and milew that will be in the house will be unimaginable I'm sure. My dh and I are hoping to go back and salvage a few things, I 'm hoping jewelry, maybe my china, etc. I hope we can at least salvage a few things, but I don't want to put dd2 at risk! Anyway, any more thoughts?
