2 wks pp- hip pain?

My hips have gone from feeling weird/uncomfortable to actually hurting now, on one side, at least. I've never heard of this as a normal pp thing, but it makes sense that it's from the birth and accompanying pelvic stretching. Has anyone else had this? Should I be worried, or will it just go away? Tips on how to deal with it?

I'm 4 months pp and my hips still hurt! Especially if I fall asleep on my side......kind of feels like growing pains.....I'll be watching this one!

chiropractic?

carrying a baby does all sorts of wonky things to the musculoskeletal system, and a gentle alignment and adjustment can do wonders.

I had a lot of hip pain and a general feeling of being disjointed in my back, hips and pelvis for a few months post pardum. Some of this I contributed to the birth and the rest I contribute to uncomfortable cosleeping. I think it is normal although no one seems to talk much about it. I strongly concidered going to the chiropracter but, I just never figured out how to work that in with a newborn in tow. It did go away eventually

i had this too...can't remember how long now (at least 2 months i think), but it went away on it's own. i had a near 10 pounder though which was 'ouch'. i stretched a lot.

Thanks, y'all. It's good to know that this is a thing other people have had; never having heard of it before was worrying me...
