Everyone is having their babies except me!

OK ... got that out of my system! (And yes, I know I'm not due for another few days and my babes are usually "late"...but still )

Anyone else?

It's ok Amanda. Moonbaby will be here before you know it! I promise you won't be preggo forever. Glad you were able to get that off your chest though. I can't believe all the babies I have gotten to add to the list today, so I totally feel for you.

I hear ya, Amanda! I'm so sick of being huge and pregnant. I'm due on Sunday, but I really don't see myself having this baby by then. :

I'm sleep deprived and getting really grumpy to live with, too.

I'm still waiting, and may have a ways to go still. Sighhh...
I'm still waiting too...and not so patiently, I might add.

:LOL

I'm still waiting. After my spending 4 hrs in the L&D my ctrx were 2 min apart when I left and puttered quite a bit while I was there, and I wasn't screaming yet, so they said to go home. UGH! Going to try to go to sleep now. I'm so tired!!
I was just thinking that!! I keep hoping every day is the day and then it's not!! I really need to find something else to take up all this time! I wish I could be patient, I just want my baby now!, I've been pregenant long enough! oh and I'm due on sunday!

:LOL I thought that your title "Waaaaah!" meant that your baby was born too...

Yes, I have another week and a half til my EDD and know it very well might be later than that too. Every few days dh has to sort of talk me down from getting all freaked out about it. I pretty much told everybody early October and now I am so glad I did.

Yesterday we also started to make a plan of what to do if I go over 42 weeks. My midwife's backup OBs will want to schedule a c/s since I'm VBAC, and if everything's okay with me and babe we decided I'm not going to show up. It made me feel better because the deadline was stressing me out already.

But when I think of being pregnant for four more weeks....

heh, heh -- I'm laughing because I've felt the same darn thing. I was "due" last Saturday. I keep thinking, okay, this is it!!! Then, nope. I started to not want to check in with the DDC cuz everyone else was having theirs! (Sophie punched me on that one... I'm coming, ma, hang in there!) But then I'd slink over to the puter and see how everyone was doing. More babies. So, thanks, mom2threenurslings, for saying just what I was feeling.

Today I feel better -- as in patient. By this afternoon I'll be cranky again if we don't shift into high gear.

More to say, but I'll go to the weekly thread.

Oh, can I please join the pity party???!!

Waaaah!

Keep reminding me that I want to hold out until Sunday because that's when my midwife gets back from vacation, ok? I just can't imagine being pregnant/not sleeping for one more night!

I was thinking of starting a still waiting club but then I saw this thread buried underneath all of the baby announcements. I'm not due until the 24th but I'm getting really tired of being pregnant.

After my last pregnancy with all that pre term labor from 21 wks, to have a baby at 38, the cerclage offer at 16 weeks for this pregnancy, the stats that older mom tend to go early... yada yada yada, get my drift here? I NEVER thought I would still be pregnant at 39 wks & 3days! My due date is 9/20. I have never been pregnant this long.

I had a massage yesterday hoping it would get things going, NADA! Baby loved it's part of the massage but my uterus did nothing!

I am scheduled for accupunture next Wednesday. This guy is booked solid for a month but my dear dear dear friend (who works in his office) got me squeezed in. We are hoping I do not make that appointment.

It's 5am and up walking around my house, this insomnia is the worst part. I feel really good otherwise, no aches and pains for this almost 41 yr old pregnant mama.

I have kind of stayed away from this forum b/c although I find it inspiring at times, I do get pangs of frustration reading about all the arrivals. I am thrilled for everyone, especially all the 1st timers and wow the # of homebirths (way to go!), I just wish I was on that team, lol.

My dd's b-day is 9/28 and she keeps threatening to be annoyed with this baby if it 'steals' her birthday. I say 'share' she says 'steal', lol!

Good luck mamas, we won't be pregnant forever, just a little while longer... and then let the nappy changing begin!

I was also "due" last Saturday... (today by u/s), and even though I have put off some important baby preparation tasks, I keep wanting labor to start!
It doesn't help that DD keeps grabbing my belly and saying, "Baby M'out... Soon!" and, "Mama, push baby OUT!" :LOL
I've been watching birth movies with her and she's positively fascinated! :
Hopefully that's a sign she'll be excited to be a big sis, but with toddlers, it's impossible to predict things like that.

Sending calm vibes to all the waiting mamas & hoping we are all rested up when labor comes :yawning: ...

I completely understand and feel the same way. I have had this stupid prodromal labor and I am completely exhausted because of it. I am not 40 weeks until Sunday, but I "thought" I would have the baby by now because my other two were born a bit early. Oh, and everyone I know keeps calling and saying, "did you have the baby yet" I am not in a good mood about it anymore and have started saying things like "Yeah Mom, I had the baby and didn't tell you even though you are supposed to go to the hospital with Chris and I and help me during labor." Yesterday I had 5 phone calls asking about the baby and it was only 9:30 in the morning - and they were all people that I would call immediately if I were going into real labor - like my two best friends, my mom, mil, and grandmother. (eyes roll) Ok, I will give them the benefit of the doubt because I know they are all very excited to meet this babe, but none of them is as anxious as dh and I. I just want to meet the little guy.

Diddo! EVERYONE is asking. : When I was pregnant with dd, dh & I changed our answering machine message to say," Hello, it's December such-and-such, and we're still pregant... Leave a message, blah blah," :LOL I think we should do the same thing again.

Well...I"m on day 2 of podromal labor. Fun! Ctrx have gotten as close as 3 min apart (for a couple hours) and are usually around 10 min apart. Went to the midwives' office today (an hour away) bp is fine, baby's in a good position, just waiting! Went to lunch afterwards - ctrx every 10 min at Friendly's! :LOL I was waiting for someone to ask when I'm due so I could respond, "Today- and I'm in labor!" Hopefully sometime tonight or tomorrow, but I'm not counting on it! (I had 3 days podromal labor w/ my second!)
