arlo arrived in the car as we pulled up to the birth center on sun, sept. 11. he was 9 lbs and 21 inches and, despite the unplanned location, came into the world very peacefully and gently.

i'll update w/ his birth story when we're not mid-nurse-a-thon.

Congratulations, Mama Keely! the name Arlo Gabriel! Welcome little guy! Can't wait to hear more about the car story--my 2yo DS LOVES anything to do with cars--that probably would have been his ideal birth! :LOL

Thank you mamas!

I have not yet written our birth story b/c I'm having lactation issues and am really investing all of my time and energy into trying to fix them. We are doing well though, and I'm eager to have things settle into a routine so that I can get our birth down "on paper" - it was really a beautiful, empowering, not-at-all traumatic, peaceful birth and I'm looking forward to sharing once I can get my little guy thriving on mama milk alone and ditch this sns and pumping routine.

For now, please send us milky vibes. ELVs to mamas expecting, and tons of congrats to all of you who've given birth!
