Anyone know where to donate fabric?

I am in the midst of a pretty big decluttering spree. I have purged a lot of clothes, all going to hurricane refugees (I think the pics of all the refugees made me realize how much JUNK I have). I have about 5 or 7 fabric cuts, each big enough to make a garment. Does anyone have any ideas on where I could donate this to?
Two conditions:
Must be a proper organization that will give me a reciept for tax purposes.

Must be a non-denominational organization.

Any ideas?

they sell whatever they receive & use the proceeds for services for veterans
They can pickup whenever you want & they leave a tax receipt

If you have a preference on what type of org gets the benefit I suggest you look in your local phone. (homeless shelters, womens organizations etc)

The money we give to FINCA is generated by something we call the Denver Fabrics Fabric Stash Program. Our Fabric Stash Program is the perfect option for our local customers who don’t know what to do with their ever expanding sewing room fabric stash. We all know its good fabric, too good to throw away, but how can it be recycled. This is how.

Our customers bring their unwanted fabric to us. A small portion of it goes to local non-profit organizations, but most of it we sell in our Annex stores on their fabric-by-the-pound tables. The money generated by the sale of this fabric is then given to FINCA.

Project Linus uses fabric to make blankets for sick kids but I have no idea if they have any religious affliation.

I know that you're looking for an "official" non-profit that can give you a tax receipt, but I have some suggestions that may help lurkers with extra fabric. Fabric can be offered on Freecycle or on the MDC Trading Post, or sold on eBay. You could also mail it to me
