So do you know if she is BFing? What do you think she will do? I am happy but scared to see her as a mommy, wow, crazy.

No offense to you Turbo, I can just imagine that the "news" will be going on and on about it for months.

dunno about the breastfeeding...

story at www.usmagazine.com mentions the baby boy was born by cesarean (unconfirmed by britney's rep).

The entertainer, accompanied by Federline, checked into an L.A. hospital about 6 a.m. to undergo a C-section.
Sounds like a planned C/S to me.

She was suposed to give birth in Scottsdale, AZ but that may have just been to throw off the reporters. Well she got her csection just like she wanted. :

Big surprise!

According to Eonline - The birth of the baby boy nearly coincides with the release Thursday of her new Fragrance.

If it she did this on purpose - UGH!

I don't care if she BF's or not, but I hope she didn't circ him

well I for one am relieved it's not a girl. Don't get me wrong, that little boy will have a lot to learn about women in the real world, but at least she doesn't have a daughter to dress in mom and baby matching thongs and teach that thin and sexy is the only way to be. :Puke

Rumor is that the baby's name is London Preston Federline.

Not at all meaning to start anything about scheduled C-sections : but I truely believe every woman IF MEDICALLY CAPABLE should experience natural childbirth.... it's a high you can't explain..... at least it was for me

I don't know if Ms. Spears had any medical contra-indications to vaginal birth that the public didn't know about, but it certainly seems like she planned the c/s entirely out of convenience and fear of childbirth. Because of her public image, she's promoting the idea of c/s for convenience and childbirth as something scary to be avoided at all costs.

are you kidding? do you know where you are? scheduled c-sections on a 1st time mom w/ no medical reason? - immoral.

What's sad is that she wanted a c/s to avoid the pain of childbirth. She's in for a rude awakening. While natural childbirth maybe be painful for a few days, the road to recovery from a c/s is very painful for a couple of weeks! Not to mention the nasty scar!
