New-ish growth charts--anyone know about this?

I took my kids in for their well check in the first time in a year and a half for my dd, and first time in a year for ds. I have been keeping track of their weight and height at home, and got help for any medical problems that came up.

Anyway, when ds was younger and we still did traditional well checks, he was always in the 5% for weight and 25% for height. I checked dd's using Dr. Sears chart in the Baby Book and also did some checking online.

So I was kind of shocked to hear that ds was now considered to be at the 50% for weight (!) and the 50% for height! Dd was under 3% for height and 25% for weight. Completely different!

I asked her to double check :LOL then I asked if the charts had changed. She said yes, in the last 1-2 years. She said that they had complained to the surgeon general that the old ones were just completely wrong.

Does anyone know about this? Where could i find the new charts online? How are they different than the old ones?

Thanks.

Ok, I just looked at one online...dd's was just how they said, but ds's was 12% for weight, 29th% at height, rather than 50/50. I guess she just made a mistake.
