I agree there may be more to it, but I also read that quote in Us magazine

It really burns me up to hear of people thinking that they'll just schedule a c-section and take the "easy way out". I had to have two c-sections. It is not painless. It is not easy. The recovery can be quite painful, as Britney will find out, for example, the first time she has to sneeze.
Don't get me wrong, C-sections are a blessing to those of us who would otherwise be unable to have a vaginal birth (I have a uterine malformation). But when there are people have no medical complication to preclude delivering normally, and they still choose an elective cesarean, well that's just wrong!
