Poop or no poop? LOL

You'd think I might know this by #5, but can diarrhea be a sign that labor is on the homefront? I spent a week constipated and since last night...I can't stop going! I've also lost weird chunks of my plug, but I know that is pretty meaningless. LOL

Did anyone here have loose bowels before going into actual labor?

For me both times I had loose stools at the start of active labor.

Just saw this post, wanted to add my experience. Withds I was induced, so no idea there lol

with dd I spent 6 days feeling constipated, but I could 'go' every other day just a tiny bit. It was soft, but not loose. Turned out it was just hear head being that low causing the constipated feeling.
