So, Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney made it to five months before deciding they weren't "really" married? I mean, even Britney figured it out after 55 hours. :LOL

Gosh....and they haven't even sent me the thank you note yet for the wedding gift I sent them.

Fraud.... Hmmnn... Guess she didn't know he was bald under that cowboy hat.

I hope Rene goes back to Jack White and rings his doorbell.

:LOL That MUST be it! You're a genius, hon.

It's small, but this is a pic of him at court when he and Tim McGraw had their fracas with a deputy.

I was not surprised but I had been hopeful for her that this was the one, she seems so sad all the time even when she is supposed to be happy, kwim? I still say you can meet and find the one quickly, though dh and I were dating for a year before we got engaged and then engaged a year before we married I knew after one month together that he was the one, so it does happen. I think he was a rebound. The curious thing will be to see if Jack White ALSO gets an annulment or divorce?

Fraud does make you wonder and her statement was that it does not pertain to his character, um hello if he was fradulant then yes it does. I would love to know the reason but you know we never will.

Wasn't she the one who said in response to a question about not knowing Chesney for long, "it's not like we got married when we were 20!" or something like that?

Hmph. I guess it would be completely petty of me to say "I married at 20 and we're still together so " wouldn't it?

I hadn't been following Renee and Kenny all that closely, but weren't they "out and about" together even as recently as a week or two ago?

Have they been faking it and hoping for the best for the past month or two, or did Renee find out something horrendous about Kevin?

That was a silly comment she made about not being 20 --- can't love make you silly (and stupid) at any age?

I don't really follow them either, but my mom mentioned it today. I thought it was really strange. I'm SOOO curious to know what kind of fraud went on. :LOL

From the Brit tabloids... and there was a recent paparazzi snap of Jack and Rene.

WHITE RUSHES TO ZELLWEGER'S SIDE

THE WHITE STRIPES rocker JACK WHITE has infuriated his new wife, model KAREN ELSON, by dashing to be by ex-girlfriend RENEE ZELLWEGER's side in the wake of her marriage breakdown.

Elson is devastated by White's eagerness to comfort the BRIDGET JONES' DIARY star, and is terrified the old flames reignite their earlier passions.

Oscar-winner Zellweger dated White on-and-off for two years, and split only a few months before she married country singer KENNY CHESNEY in a secret beach ceremony in May (05).

Despite warning Zellweger against the whirlwind marriage, White then followed in her footsteps and secretly wed Elson in June, just four months after they met.

A source tells UK newspaper the Daily Star, "Karen is absolutely horrified. Jack dropped everything to be by Renee's side, and Karen only found out after he'd left.

"She knows that although Jack is very fond of her she'll never measure up to Renee. And she's terrified he will rekindle his romance with her."

Hmmmmm...today tabloids seem to be making up stories. One says that the split was because Renee wanted a family immediately and Kenny wanted to wait on a baby. Another claims Renee did not expect Kenny to be so "traditional," implying that Kenny wanted her to cook and clean or something? And another says the problem was that Renee wanted Kenny to move to Connecticut, but he just couldn't bear to part with his Caribbean island.
Sighhhh, if I wasn't married, Kenny, I'd take you, hairless and all.

You are really not surprised are you?

No, but I truly do hope when these celebrities marry, especially after they seem to have had romantic trouble. I am very fortunate to have found true love and I guess I just hope that for everyone. Famous or not

MamaBug (or anyone)- What is true love? How do you know you've found it? I don't doubt that lots of celebrities (and real people too) think that they have met "the love of their life" -- who -surprise- turns out to be quite the opposite of a soulmate. I should probably start a different thread (and I think I might), but how many years do you need to be married (or partnered) before you can "prove" that you have indeed found true love?
The "fraud" was probably Kenny misrepresenting himself as not being gay.

I think true love is something that can stand the test of time and all the ups and downs of marriage. This is just my opinion. I had dated alot of guys before I met dh, and I thought some of them were "the one" and in the long run I knew they weren't. When I met dh things were different, and they still are 11 years later.
