I was dropping my son off as Kindergarten this morning. We were going through our little routine where I remind him of what to do with his boots and talk about what he will be doing in class today. The last thing is always a good bye hug and kiss and a promis to see you again at 11:00. Well this morning the bell rang in the middle of it. He started off to his class room. I said "what about my hug and kiss?" he said "I don't have time for that right now! We are going to watch a movie about Terry Fox!" Now part of me is happy that he is so excited and secure about school that he dosn't need my reassurance. And I always knew there would come a time when he didn't want my hugs and kisses at school. I even know that I'll probably get my hug tomorow (or I gess Monday) but it still seems so soon for this.
