Just curious, after someone's comment about homeschooling for "only five years". I'm only counting years when your child is actually "school-age", so starting from the age he or she would have gone into kindergarten. I guess it really needs to be a two-part poll, too - the first part is the number of years, and the second is some more specifics about the years. I hope it makes sense!

P.S. By "Years not consecutive", I mean someone who maybe homeschooled for kindergarten and first grade, then sent her child to school for second, then homeschooled for third... so, three years total, but not consecutive years.

: Gee, thanks for giving me my own category - I didn't think at first that I'd be able to find one that fit... - Lillian
It's been all the same work we do now, even more actually with the set up and the Mommy-schooling, but she would be in PS Kindergarten this year.

: So, officially, we haven't started "homeschooling" as my older son is only 4. But the way I voted before reading the specifics was 3-5 years because I believe "homeschooling" starts at birth. So, you can disregard my vote or take it for what it's worth.

Living and learning....learning and living....all the same.
