Ugh...Brittany beat me!

Why in the world does it bother me that Brittany Spears had her baby before me? Just another reason to be annoyed with the girl! :

Just venting...don't mind me...:LOL

It's funny about ole Brittany, I wouldn't mind if she had naturallly had her baby early, but it does bother me that women can get away with a planned c-sect, and the only reason I've heard so far from her is that she didn't want to go through the pain of natural childbirh. Some how electing for surgery just doesn't seem like the better option! I watched my mom recover from a c-sect when i was a kid and I would never want to do that!

okay now I'm really going to sleep!......

Yeah, I was wondering if there was a medical reason for the planned c-sect or if it was just for convenience/lack of pain. I mean, I'm happy that the baby's healthy and all...

...just going through that end of pregnancy b**chiness!

I'm right there with you - never in a million years did I think I'd ever be jealous of Britney. Not of the fact that she had a c-section, but that she's probably holding her babe right now (well, if her nanny isn't) and I'm sitting here with horrid back pain and huge hobbit feet, and a kid that won't get his butt out of my ribcage! :LOL

When I had DS David Letterman and Kristi Yamaguchi (who was in my childbirth class by the way) both had babies around the same time. And this time I just get Brittney Spears??? She's not somebody I ever imagined myself having anything in common/any kind of bond with! :LOL

Wow...how funny. How did that happen? Was she nice?

I know, now I feel like I will forever be gauging my baby's progress/age/etc...with Brittany's. We're tied together for life..aaaah! :LOL

I took a non-hospital-affiliated class taught by a cnm in her home. It was an integration of different childbirth approaches. Some of the people were pursuing natural childbirth, some weren't(Kristi wasn't, which surprised me a little bit--I thought why not give it a go-you're an *athlete* for goodness sake!). She and her husband were very nice, friendly, and down to earth though. She looked teeny tiny, even pregnant. Her husband is a pro hockey player, which I am sure exacerbated this effect.

The one I've always watched is Prince Harry. His bday is a few days different from my baby brother's. So I've always felt like big sis to the Prince.
