My labors both started early, though the intense part was overnight.

For my first I had some contractions starting at 4 AM...took a bath in the AM and slept (bath slowed them) then things got going ...at 10 PM I was 3 CM, after 1 AM I was 10 CM....she was born at 1:59 AM

For my second I was crampy all day, then a switch turned on my body and hard labor from 11:30 PM...she was born at 2:07 AM

I seem to like to give birth overnight LOL.

I voted midnight - 6 am, which was true (kinda) for two of the three)

#1 ctx started tuesday 10pm and were not much for about 24 hours. By wednedsay midnight we called the midwife and went to the bc at about 2 a.m. DS born Thursday at 2:30 pm.
#2 woke up with ctx at about 12:30 a.m., went to the bc at 5:30 a.m, DS born at 11:30 a.m.
#3 (homebirth) had prodromol labor for 1-2 days, then called the midwife to come at about 11:30 a.m., DD born at 3:00 pm

At night...my Father told me that this is because the human body is naturally relaxed at night....

I walked around 4cm with lots of contractions here and there for three weeks. I had intermittent contractions for a few days before active labor began around Midnight. First birth I was induced, so who knows what might of happened?

Yeah, applejuice, just from my own birthstory reading it seemed that lots of women begin the hardwork in the night. That makes sense biologically that that would be a safer and more convienent time to really work at birth. Thanks for all the responses!

I voted between 6pm and midnight

I had been having lots of contractions at night for about 4 days and then the night I went into labor I had one really strong contraction and my water broke- that was at 10pm and things got intense very shortly after.
