Dyeing hot pink lambswool black?

Help crafty mamas! Somebody gave me a beautiful pashmina made with 100% lambswool. It's hot pink tho, which is a _very_ unflattering colour for me. I want to dye it black... is this possible? How?

Thanks.

I would suggest using either Jacquard Acid dyes or Prochem WashFast Acid dyes. Acid dyes are pretty easy to use, besides the dye all you really need is an acid(white vinegar, citric acid crystals or acetic acid).

Though you could use a fiber reactive dye, for animal fibers you'll get a better black using an acid dye.
