After a couple days of podromal labor, Coren Ryu is here!!!

Coren (crescent moon) Ryu (dragon) was born at home in the water on Saturday, September 17th at 9:52 AM. Present at his birth were Daddy, Alexander (6.5), Zachary (5), Haley (3), Gramma, Papa, Rachel (17 yr old friend/babysitter), and our two midwives.

Coren weighed in at 10 lbs 14 oz and was 22.25 inches long! Not bad for one day "late". No wonder my body needed so much time to prepare for his birth!
