Wow! I'm so behind!
Sending ELV's to whomever needs them! (especially Joey!
)
Michelle - It's great to hear that nursing is going much better for you! Good for you for hanging in there and working to sort things out!
Goldie - Good luck on the workshop!!! I hope everything goes well for you guys! It sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you!
One of my midwives came for our 4 day checkup today. Everything is going great, I'm good, baby's wonderful (except for latch issues). Coren even went to the potty for the midwife - we're ECing, and it was a great "demo"! :LOL
We did his PKU test today - and the kid just wasn't bleeding. It took a long time and he was po'd that we were holding him still (he didn't mind the pin prick - just the holding still). He screamed and screamed, which broke my heart and brought Haley to tears. She sobbed. When it was done, she first checked out her brother's foot, talked to him and made sure he was ok, then nursed for a while. She loves her brother so much! We gave the midwife her gift - I don't know when we'll be seeing her again, as she and her daughter are off to Morocco for a month, hopefully to be attending a friend's birth!
I got birth pics from my Dad last night. Many of them are hazy/difficult to see (he used his digital camera and I didn't want flash during the birth), but he did get a few good ones. A few of them I "enhanced" with my computer and they look like works of art more than pictures! :LOL Dh just went to pick up pictures from Walmart - we used a disposable camera (our camera broke and we can't afford a new one at the moment), so I hope some of the pics came out - they're all of Coren, I think, and we have many relatives in other states who are demanding pictures!
I'll trying to add pics to the Shutterfly site asap.
Gotta go potty Coren!

My hormones are crazy...I cry every time I talk about her!
Still crazy jealous that she had her baby first, but what can you do, ykwim?

- Hang in there! The last few days/weeks are the most difficult part. In a nutshell - waiting sucks!
today! Dh leaves for work at 4:30AM and gets home at 3:30 pm - LOTS of time for me to try to entertain my kids! I wish my body didn't hurt so badly, or I'd take them to my grandmother's house - I have the energy, but not the hips/back for it! Am I "supposed" to be driving yet? I remember hearing somewhere that you're supposed to wait a week or two after having baby but don't remember the time frame or why...???

: and I have been letting him watch it
