where to find thick foam for cushions?

FIL recently built a bench in our kitchen and I need to sew a cushion for the top of it. it is an odd shape as it's built/attached to 3 walls..

anyone know where I can find thick foam? (I may be able to find some from a masage therapy supplies store but haven't checked yet, so I thought I'd ask here)

or is there something else you can suggest?

Joann's sells foam that can be custom cut.
