Wool jersey covers

I picked up some wool jersey material and I was going to make some covers out of it. My questions are-
1. do you need to use 2 layers if you plan on using the cover overnight?
2. do you think it would be better to make an elastic waist & leg cover vs using aplix in the front?

I would love to use snaps, but I don't have a snap press.
Any advise is appreciated. TIA.

I think it would be much better to use two layers unless you really felt them alot..but then you sacrafice stretch and comfort. Have you considered making sleep shorts or longies instead? Or you can always send them out to a WAHM who has a snap service. I do think you will regret the aplix after awhile..
good luck.

I was thinking about sending them out to get snaps put on them. But i'm not really familiar with how to do that, so i'd have to do some research. The shorts/longies idea was good, I hadn't thought about that. Thanks.

for night, i use one full outer layer, and one extra layer just in the wet zone.

you don't need resin snaps, i have a full set of biobottoms covers that use H&L AND one metal snap on each side to prevent wing droop.

Thanks for that idea. I hadn't thought of just putting an extra layer in the wetzone...
