is it pointless for me to chart?

shoshie is now 14 months and there is no sign of fertility returning yet. seriously, i don't think i have any cervical fluid to speak of. but i would like to know when i start ovulating again, if for no other reason than to know when i conceived, if i did.
so i bought a basal thermometer yesterday and got my hubby to take my temp this morning and logged it into fertility friend. but i'm wondering how ludicrous it is to chart right now. my last cycle was literally 2 years ago, and we aren't TTC right now. am i ridiculous to record my temps?

I don't think it is useless. It's a good habit to get into, for one thing. And for another, it gives you a good baseline of where you're starting from.

Although you don't have any fertility signs right now, you never know when they will creep up on you!
