Okay, can anyone tell me a good place to order sandwiched PUL online? I've looked through the resources listed here a little bit, but am still having trouble finding it. I had seen it somewhere but I can't find it again now. TIA!

I believe one of the co-op owners is looking for some right now (www.groups.yahoo.com/group/sewingsupplycoop maybe, but don't quote me on that :LOL). I know I've seen it talked about somewhere recently.

ETA: Yep that's the one, I found the message about it and she's checking on prices and whatnot now.

Yeah, I was afraid that was the answer I would get. I don't really know anything about buying from a co-op so I was hoping to not have to get into something new. And then I recently read a thread about people being unhappy with a co-op. I would just prefer some place to order online.

Thanks for the info, though. It's good to have if I can't find it anywhere else.

actually, i'm the one that asked sherrie at sewingsupplycoop to look for it. you can make a mock version by just using two layers of PUL with the knit sides out.

I have some I'd be willing to part with if you're interested. PM me.

So is this what you want to use when using a cotton print outer? I thought you could just use a layer of regular PUL between the outer material and inner material.

Also, I'm assuming this is fabric treated on both sides instead of one, is that right?

And can I say, I love this board! So helpful! I made my first functional diaper yesterday and I owe it all to this board I'm almost done with my second diaper (have to serge it, once I make my offering to the serging goddesses, lol) - hopefully this one will be functional AND cute :LOL

you can do that, but most people who want a decorative outer layer just use their fashion fabric on the outside and the PUL on the inside, with the fabric side of the PUL toward the baby (laminate ends up facing the fashion fabric).

no, true sandwiched PUL has a laminate fused between two layers of fabric, making it a single layered material.
